The British Isles Women's Championships and International Series are being held at Les Creux Bowling Club in Jersey from Friday 14th June to Tuesday 18th June with over 150 of the best lady bowlers from England, Ireland, Jersey, Scotland and Wales competing for the annual titles.
There will be many exciting and high quality games to entertain the large crowd expected at the event.
The Singles, Pairs, Triples, Fours and Senior Fours 2018 Champions from England, Ireland, Jersey, Scotland and Wales are competing for the British Isles Title in the five competitions on Friday and Saturday.
The International Series starts on Sunday and will be a tight contest between very strong teams with the final matches on Tuesday morning expected to decide the title.
The competitions in the Championships are all a straight knockout with a preliminary round, semi final and final.
There are ten matches in the International Series in a round robin format between the five teams of six rinks, with four matches on Sunday, four on Monday and the final two games on Tuesday morning.
A team receives 2 points for a win and 1 point for a drawn game, with shot difference deciding placings if points are equal at the end of the event.
