There were wins for Tarves, Pitmedden, Newhills, Oldmeldrum and Methlick in the first round of the Benachie Bowling Association League Cup.
All matches were a 4 - 2 scoreline except for Newhills who defeated Insch 6 - 0.

There is a 3-way tie between Harlaw, Balgownie and Westhill at the top of Section A in the Benachie Bowling League after Week 6 with Pitmedden going clear at the top of Section B.
Harlaw lost at home to Westhill by 18 shots (43 - 61), who join them in first place in Section A along with Balgownie, who had a comfortable 67 - 50 win at home to Kintore.
Pitmedden continued their good form with victory by 14 shots (59 - 45) against Newmachar to stay top of Section B and there was a good win for Belhelvie against Dyce (70 - 54).

Harlaw lead Section A of the Benachie Bowling League after Week 5 with Pitmedden and Kemnay tied at the top of Section B.
There were comfortable wins in all matches except Kemnay v Belhelvie, with the home team winning by 5 shots (57 - 52) in a match that was close from start to finish.
