Congratulations to Ellon A, Champions of Division 1 and Cruden Bay, Champions of Division 2 of the Buchan Bowling League after all matches completed in Week 9.
Ellon A clinched the title with a convincing 81 v 44 win at home against Pitsligo in a top of the table clash that saw them move past their rivals to the top of the table. Crimond and Invercairn both lost and are relegated to Division 2.
Cruden Bay had already won the title with a week to spare and celebrated with a comfortable 85 v 47 away win at Fetterangus. Peterhead A had an excellent 79 v 44 away win at promotion rivals Monquhitter to finish in second place and join Cruden Bay in Division 1 next year.
