British Isles Women's Championships and International Series 2019 at Les Creux Bowls Club in Jersey

The British Isles Women's Championships and International Series are being held at Les Creux Bowling Club in Jersey from Friday 14th June to Tuesday 18th June with over 150 of the best lady bowlers from England, Ireland, Jersey, Scotland and Wales competing for the annual titles.

There will be many exciting and high quality games to entertain the large crowd expected at the event.

The Singles, Pairs, Triples, Fours and Senior Fours 2018 Champions from England, Ireland, Jersey, Scotland and Wales are competing for the British Isles Title in the five competitions on Friday and Saturday.

The International Series starts on Sunday and will be a tight contest between very strong teams with the final matches on Tuesday morning expected to decide the title.

The World Bowls Atlantic Championships 2019 are being held in Wales from Friday 10th May to Thursday 23rd May.

The elite level sporting event will be hosted at four venues across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan with a record-breaking number of international teams entered to participate.

The greens at Barry Athletic, Dinas Powys, Penarth Windsor and Penylan will all be used for the event.

Spectator tickets start from just £5 per day and offer the opportunity to experience the excitement of world-class live bowls. Day tickets allow you to visit any of the four venues to watch any match on the date of that ticket.

World Youth Championships 2018 - A Clean Sweep of Titles for Australia

Australia won the Men's Singles, Women's Singles and Mixed Pairs titles on the final day of the 2018 World Youth Championships at Broadbeach Bowls Club.

Australia, New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Scotland and Wales were represented in the three finals after the playoff stages were completed.

World Youth Championships 2018 Day Five - Section Stage Qualification

Australia, New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Scotland and Wales will all be represented in the playoffs after completion of the section stage at the end of the fifth day of the 2018 World Youth Championships at Broadbeach Bowls Club.

Aaron Teys (AUS) and Ross Owen (WAL) finished first and second in Section 1 with Ryan Burnett (SCO) taking the third qualification place on shot difference after Rory Soden (NZL) and Alok Lakra (IND) both lost thier final matches to finish level with Ryan on twelve points.

Daeng Dahasry (MAS) took top spot in Section 2, three points clear of Corey Wedlock in second place. Jason Choi finished third, ahead of Gariga Babona on shot difference (+33 v +23).

Ellen Ryan (AUS), Katelyn Inch ((NZL) and Chloe Stewart (AUS) all finished clear of the rest of the field to take the top three places in the Women's Section 1 and qualify for the playoffs, with Tayla Bruce (NZL), Kristina Krstic (AUS) and Shae Wilson (NFK) doing the same in Section 2.

It was a similar stroy in both sections of the Mixed Pairs, with Kristina Krstic-Corey Wedlock (AUS), Connie Rixon-Cabous Olivier (MLT-NAM) and Nur Ain Tarmizi-Daeng Dahasry (MAS) qualifiying from Section 1 and Ellen Ryan-Aaron Teys (AUS), Shae Wilson-Ryan Burnett (NFK-SCO) and Angel So-James Po (HKC) from Section 2.

World Youth Championships 2018 - Day Four

There are two rounds to go and it is a tight race for qualification in all four sections of the Men's and Women's Singles at the end of the fourth day of the 2018 World Youth Championships at Broadbeach Bowls Club.

Aaron Teys (AUS) is three points clear of Ross Owen (WAL) in Section 1, closely followed by Alok Lakra (IND), Ryan Buyrnett (SCO) and Rory Soden (NZL).

Corey Wedlock (AUS) is still top of Section 2 but only on shot difference (+40 v +26) from Daeng Dahasry (MAS), who has a game in hand. Gariga Babona (PNG) and Jason Choi (HKC) are just behind on twelve points and Keanu Darby (NZL), Cabous Olivier (NAM) and Cameron Lefresne on nine points also have a chance of quaification.

Ellen Ryan (AUS) is top of the Women's Section 1 table, having played a game less than Katelyn Inch (NZL) in second place on shot difference (+41 v +33). Chloe Stewart (AUS), Connie Rixon (MLT) and Priscilla Westlake (CAN) all have a chance to reach the playoffs with two games to go.

Kristina Krstic (AUS) leads Section 2 by three points from Tayla Bruce (NZL), with Shae Wilson (NFK), Megan Wilson (IRE) and Nur Ain Tarmizi (MAS) just behind on twelve points.

The race for qualification remains wide open in all four sections of the singles.
