Bowls is Bowls, the organisation established to encourage all bowls organisations and bowlers of all ages, creeds, colour and abilities to work together, has announced two major tournament sponsorships for the 2019/20 season as part of its commitment to the promotion and development of the sport of Bowls.
Bowls is Bowls will now be the new sponsor for the Short Mat Players Tour (SMPT) Bowls is Bowls World Pairs and also the Bowls is Bowls World Fours. This sponsorship deal will see the SMPT working with "Bowls is Bowls" in the build-up to the tournament to promote Bowls in and around Falcon Indoor Bowls Club, which is based in Chelmsford, South Essex.
There are still some spots remaining for both the Bowls is Bowls World Fours and the Bowls is Bowls World Pairs. The two tournaments will be held on the 30th November and 1st December respectively.
The Short Mat Players Tour vision is to be the market leader in all aspects of short mat bowls, from staging premier bowls events through to implementing technological advancement and providing professional consultancy.
