There are not too many words to describe Garry and Kevin’s display other than the perfect team performance. Scotland’s pair were in inspired form throughout their final against Australia, eventually winning 16-7 and ensuring a first gold for Scottish Para Lawn Bowls since Manchester 2022. Congratulations to both men on an unbelievable achievement!

Bowls Scotland European Open in partnership with Erskine - Winners InterviewCongratulations to Dunfermline Northern Bowling Club’s Daniel Martin and Lyle Robertson for winning the inaugural Bowls Scotland 2022 European Open in partnership with Erskine. The young pairing from West Fife defeated Ian Garioch, Craig McKellar, Ron Anderson, Connor Milne and Michael Stevenson in today’s knockout stages to prevail victorious. In the final, Daniel and Lyle defeated Gourock Park Bowling Club’s Michael Stevenson and Stonehouse Bowling Club’s Reece Notman 10-8. Well done to all four players on reaching the final and putting on a great spectacle of bowling.
